Man im such an A$%

I was reading in Exodus and i got to verse 34:20. It states "Redeem the firstborn donkey with a lamb, but if you do not redeem it, break its neck. Redeem all your first born sons. I was reading this and thought to myself. That hey if Jesus is the lamb of God, we must be the donkey and we are the firstborns of Gods creation. We are the crux of His creation. It was a neat thing to see in the scripture. I am not saying that this is exactly what God intended by this verse, but this spoke volumes to me. It just reinforced to me that i am an butt in all sense of the word. I am stiff necked and stubborn and really really stupid sometimes. But you know God used His son the Lamb to redeem me. And now the yoke has been lifted and my neck no longer needs to be broken by the weight of the law. So are you being a jackass in the eyes of God? And if so you know what you must do. Praise God for the way he speaks to all of us through the scripture.
